This year's party will be held at the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery on Friday, January 22, 2010, from 7-11 PM. Dinner, wine & beer or soda, and dessert will be included in your admission, and there will be a DJ on hand to play some great tunes for dancing. Tickets are now available for sale through the Geology Graduate Club. The price is $25 per person for dinner with 2 hours of open bar (beer & wine), or $20 per person for dinner with fountain drinks (for those of you who are under 21 or choose not to drink). Cocktail dress is suggested. Significant others and dates are welcome to attend, but please don't ask to bring a crowd - we want to make sure the entire Department can join in!
Tickets can be purchased from Jessica Ball in NSC 880 (jlball@buffalo.edu) for the remainder of this week, until Thursday (December 17) next week, and during the first week of classes (January 11-15). The absolute last day to buy tickets is FRIDAY, JANUARY 15! You may email Jessica over winter break to notify her that you wish to attend, but you must pay for your ticket by January 15. Tickets are cash only; please be prepared to show an ID if you are purchasing a ticket that includes the open bar. (Bartenders will also be checking IDs at the event.)
